Default Al Gharbia a hot hotspot

The sunny weather year all year will of course be a draw. The level of investment practical ensures that Al Gharbia will become a real estate hotspot.

Abu Dhabi real estate companies have already announced developments in the region.

The Cityscape exhibition, Aldar Properties unveiled a mixed-use development at Al Ruwais city which will be one of seven city hubs in the proposed development an an area of land which amounts to just over 70% of the United Arab Emirates.

Its not only up market housing and retail and leisure complexes that are been planned. Waha Land – a subsidiary of Waha Capital – has announced a Dh15 billion budget for a complex comprising warehousing and logistics facilities along with mid-market housing and workers' accommodation at Al Hameem on Abu Dhabi-Tarif highway.

It is hoped that the development will combine the desert and island tourism destination with distinctive feature that combine the bedouin lifestyle and comfortable modern amenities. From my several trips to Dubai and Abu Dhabi although there is all the glitz and sparkle of Dubai to me its beauty lies with the desert it is spectacular before I saw it I thought deserts were just sand they take your breath away and remain in your memory.

"This area contains the agriculture industry that includes the largest and most fertile farms in the whole country."

"There is huge interest from investors. The region has the country's longest coastline and largest number of islands.

When the plan is fully implemented Al Gharbia will be the Gulf's biggest desert and island tourism and business destination and would tempt people to move from other parts of the emirate.
