Default Things are looking better and better

I've got some friends that work at the stock market, and they've told me that the economy is starting to heal. I said "no way", and I'm still saying it. What do you guys think?

If by "starting to heal" you mean the recent market correction is starting to bounce back a little - maybe yes and maybe no. There's still a way to go before the market could be considered "healed".

I am starting to see some signs of that myself where I live as well. Hopefully we have seen the worse, but I am not ready to say that just yet.

I think its going to be a long time before we see the end of the present volatility in the market - while gas prices are going lower, we are still a long way away from getting back to where we were; I am not sure if the housing market will ever recover.

I think we are seeing a little recovery in the market, however I do agree that we have a long way to go before we are fully healed.

Things are starting to look better because the price of oil is going down. Let us not forget that as soon as it becomes cheap enough all these American businesses that are in the process of coming home will leave again and this mess will start over.

So what have we learned here? We better pass laws to make it financially bad for them to leave again. And no I'm not talking about giving them every break in the world to stay. The way I look at it is this. Pay your fair share or get out. Period!

It is entirely too soon to start celebrating and what many are hyping as recovery is simply a pause just before the next wave.

I'd say give it a couple of years before planning anything really large.
