Default A Great Tip

My best friend just purchased a new home and she had a great system on keeping track of the houses she visited. She took pictures of the outside and inside of each house. Then she placed all the pictures in a photo album and made notes on each home. When she was ready to decide on a home, she pulled out the photo album.

Thats a great idea, its amazing what you dont notice or dont remember, however from the otherside of things I am not sure that if I was selling a house that I d want a viewer taking lots of photos it would feel like they were casing the joint

Talk about a good idea! Keeping records clean is always a good thing to do, and a tremendous help down the way.

I'm not sure I'd want to buy a house if the owner was not cooperating with me in my search. If that included taking photos or video then so be it. Look at it this way. Your the one trying to sell, your the one lost out if you drive a potential buyer away. Quit being so paranoid.

That is a great piece of advice, and something I will be passing on to my parents as they search for retirement housing for our grandparents!

That is a great tip...highly organized. It is true that trying to remember and compare when house hunting can be quite a task. Thanks!

That does sound like a pretty good idea, especially because visual images really make the difference when going over house choices

Agree! Great idea! It is hard to really remember how each house looked like without confusing them all together. I had to re-visit many homes because I was not able to recall how large the rooms were or if the kitchen had enough counter space. Plus with the pictures you may even spot that carpet stain you overlooked as you were talking with the agent!

Default A great tip

That is a great idea as it also act as a visual journal of your home search. It would be interesting to revisit that photo album years down the road.

Wow that is an amazing idea. I never really thought about that, but it is an excellent idea to keep track on what you have seen and liked.
