Lawn mowing in the country

If you are purchasing a home for vacation and it is in the country, do you think it needs lawn mowed? My realtor is unsure, she said worse case scenario the county may give me a warning and they would lawn mow it for me for $100.00. Just wondering if anybody knows if there are any lawn mowing laws for the country or if it all depends on county and county.

This is a law in some places, especially in places where people own large plots of land. I am sure you could hire a kid to do it for you each week for a reasonable price - this would be better than getting in trouble with the authorities!

Most counties and towns have some kind a regulation for maintaining residential properties. I live in a rural area and people still need to mow their lawn on a regular basis.
