Cool Cambodia, Cam-bloody-bodia?

It's Christmas and I've clearly been drinking more than I should. Did I really read this:

If you’re looking to invest in foreign property, Cambodia might not be the first place that springs to mind

Makes you feel like Peter Kay: 'Garlic, garlic bread'.

I thought Cambodia might have been part of your Blue Peter appeal.

Red face Cambodia

Hi Jim,

Well Cambodia might not be such a bad idea, I visited there on holiday this year and its a beautiful country and the people are really friendly, I think that I would consider retiring here before Spain

I too have heard that Cambodia is a good place to live, although I don't think I would like it. The area is being built up and there are a lot of tourists visiting there. They have a lot of restaurnats now and many big hotels. I don't think it's too dangerous anymore but like any place with problems I would do a lot of checking up on it before I bought property.

Um, too unstable... Too little infrastructure back in place. Too unhygenic. Now Thailand - that is the place to go!!

I've heard only bad things about Cambodia. But until I visit it, I can't say...
