Default Apartment Buildings and Noise

Are there certain areas within apartment buildings that are better with noise and/or disturbances? Would a ground level be better than in the upper floors?

I think upper floor sounds good. As there will be more noise disturbance on ground floor. There are also other positive aspects for house on top, one is that you can have a look on the beautiful view if the apartment is located in good area. N more over in apartment the garden and swings are placed near the ground floor, so if you don't like the kids noise than to stay at top is the better idea....

Why do you think the ground floor is better?

For me it is. It saves the hassles of going up floors. But it may not be for you. Not a big deal.

I prefer to live on the top, but its not very convenient when you have two children and bags full of groceries, and you dont all fit in the lift!!

Try and live as far away as possible from the lift too. I once lived right opposite the lifts and you could hear the noise from them all day long. Up and down, opening and closing, it got to be a real pain.

Yeah, I think I am going to go with something on an upper floor - I can get my exercise with the pups going up and down the steps!
