Default Acreage Important?

When searching for a home, is the amount of acreage the property offers important? Do you feel its important to have a lot of space, or would you rather have a small yard to tend to?

It was very important to me- I wanted to live in the country with a lot of land. We like to be outdoors and that means land. We bought a house with 6 acres. It's perfect for us for now- I'd like to buy the next with more land.

I would not want so much land that it would become difficult for me to manage, but I would like just enough to let the children have lots of outside space to play.

I kind of feel that way too - I would not want to get into a position where I had so much that it was unmanageable. I guess land also kind of freaks me out a little since I am so used to living in cities.

I would prefer a property that is not too big and not too small. I don't want to manage a lot of properties
