Default Might it be difficult?

When considering the purchase of homes in far flung lands, there are some places that are more difficult for women.

Which countries are most difficult for women seeking property ownership?

I would think that buying property in middle eastern countries would be difficult for women from any part of the world. They look at you as little more than slaves.

Default Property Ownership

Why would you be seeking property ownership in a place that looks down on women in the first place? Does not seem like a place anyone would want to live really... On the other hand, I could probably give you more information if you had a few places you were looking into.

I wouldn't want to live in a place that was hard for a woman to be in but it seems like the hardest places would be in the middle east.

Well,
One has to find out where the difficult areas are, to avoid them, right? It is also good to know if one has the urge to confront and, hopefully remove, those barriers.

Some places you may want to live if you wish to fight the battle for women's suffrage head on include Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Brunei, and Bhutan (to name a few) as women still lack the right to vote in these places, and property ownership is for men only.

I admire your strength DianaR but this is one you should leave alone. You would be loosing all your rights to fight the system by going there.
