Default What's your ideal location?

Where would you build your house? Where would you buy an apartment? I'm curious to see what people think about the subject, what do people prefer?

Default Ideally...

I would build a house in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and have a condo in San Diego on the waterfront. That way I could get my fill of the beach and snow with my two homes What about you?

I would build/buy a house in the Greenwood area of Albemarle County, VA, just outside of Charlottesville. I used to live there, and it is paradise. The condo would be in Nags Head, North Carolina. Like mandiees, gotta have some beach and some snow!

I am pretty easy to please. I would build my home on at least 5 acres anywhere on the U.S. soil as long as it is in a safe area in the country and not in the desert or on the top of a mountain. Give me land and a home and I will be the happiest person on earth! If I realy had to choose, somewhere where it is not too cold, Florida, California, Colorado would do.

I prefer where the sun will always shine beautifuly. I will build a house made of timber. I will have vegetable and flower gardens, and waterpond where the birds and swans can freely come in.

I would build a house with a fantastic view to the sea away from everyone.

I'd have a house in the country - I'd just plain sick and tired of "city life"

Default Ideal location

Mine is in a coastal area with access to a beach, fishing, and boating. However, my ideal house would not be built right on the water as to avoid the potential of tidal flooding.

I really feel that wea re in our ideal location, right now.

We can both walk to work, or take the bus, driving to shopping centers is always a short hop.

Life is good!

Default ideal location

I agree with DianaR, the ideal location is somewhere you are happy living. I personally love the beach, so I moved there and it was the best decision I ever made.
