Default Bay Front or Ocean Front

I know this depends a lot of on lifestyle, but which location do you think would be best suited for a young family? Am I going to find that the bay or the ocean front is cheaper?

I believe property on the bay would be cheaper than living directly on the ocean (ocean front property). I'm not 100% sure on this, but usually the cost of any ocean front property is sky-high, the highest you can purchase, in fact

Yes and ironically the most dangerous to own in many parts of the world. A hurricane does not stop and wait for you to move your home. It just tears it down. As much as I love the ocean I would not live within 100 miles of it for this very reason. There is no arguing with a hurricane or monsoon.

Not living in a great location for fear that your home may be destroyed one day is an awful reason to not pursue your dreams!! Anyone who truly does love the ocean would not let the threat of a natural disaster tear them away from such a wonderful location.
