Default Property In Haiti

Does anyone have any information on the current property prices in Haiti? It is for a nonprofit group intersted in starting an orphanage there. Thanks!

Haiti is a really unstable place right now. I'm not sure I would want to get involved in that. Plus their government is a dictatorship. Not a place you really want to be.

I wish you luck in sorting out an orphanage.

You may want to coordinate property ownership in Haiti through a citizen of the country.

Prices can be all over the place in Haiti. First thing to consider is what areas in Haiti you would wish to have the orphanage. With that information you can zero in on those places, assess the resources available in the area, the safety levels etc. Although there is much instability in the country in general, there are many pockets which are safer than others.
