Default Cold locations, or hot??

I know I would be a lot more comfortable living in a home where the climate was always cool and breezy. I don't think I'd ever buy property in Florida or Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, etc. I'd stay north! What about you?

A friend of mine just moved because of the Arizona heat. They really loved it there, but it was just too hot for them anymore. They are now enjoying the pacific west coast and just loving it. It rains a bit more, but they don't care. They have a beautiful view and aren't looking back at all. I really can't imagine moving myself. I'm in Calfornia, and I love it. I think sometimes about Colorado, but my heart is here, along with a fairly stable climate, when compared to other places.

Yeah, and I also really enjoy the 4 seasons. I know in California they probably aren't as extreme as they are here in Michigan (especially the cold seasons), but I know Cali has weather changes 4 times a year too.

I hate the winter, this is just how I am. I live in Arizona, and love the heat. I no longer have sinus problems and my parent's arthritis is much better. I like to soak in the swimming pool and relax. I have 320 days of sunshine all year and hardly used the heat last year. Wildlife is available year round and I really enjoy the outdoors as never before. Good bye jackets, hello sunshine!

It's odd now, though. Growing up, there were seasons. Now it rains in summer and is 100% in winter. You just can't rely on it anymore.

I figure you can always put on more clothes if it's cold, but there's only so much you can do about hot.

I live in San Diego, and the weather could not be more perfect! If given the choice, I would plant myself right here and not deal with any of the extreme temperatures in places like Texas or Florida.

Now I'm with you there! I much prefer the cold to the heat for that same reason. It's easy to put on more clothing or grab a blanket, but cooling down is a royal pain and not always achievable!

I prefer an area that is not too hot and not too cold. I don't like extremes in temperature.
