August 7, 2008 by OPPE News

UAE super developer Emaar is to host a special sales event featuring units in eight of its most exclusive projects.

The group has chosen Friday, or 08.08.08, to offer up luxury homes in Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest building, Standpoint, Boulevard Plaza and Burj Views.

Investment opportunities will also be up for grabs in The Lofts and The Old Town, while also on sale are apartments in Dubai Marina overlooking the Arabian Sea, and a limited collection of luxury ‘Polo Homes’ within its Arabian Ranches development.

The homes will be for sale on a first-come first-serve basis, at the Palace, the Old Town hotel in Burj Dubai, or via phone and on Emaar’s internet site.

Emaar sales director Saif Al Mansoori said: “This sales campaign gives investors the opportunity to commemorate their purchase on a date that has special significance.”

The company has also recently teamed up with Giorgio Armani and Accor Hotels, and will launch ten luxury Armani hotels and resorts worldwide and 100 Formule 1 budget hotels in India.

Last month it posted profits of $902 million (£452 million) for the first half of 2008.

It announced second quarter profits of $424 million (£212 million), a growth of seven per cent on the same period last year.
