Indian property investors will see real estate discounts galore at the country’s biggest property investment exhibition later this month.

MCHI Property 2008 is set to descend on the Bandra Kurla Complex from October 9 to 12 and will feature 85 developers and 15 housing companies.

Budget, high end and commercial investment opportunities will all be on show, with organisers saying some exhibitors will offer incentives for people making property bookings in person.

Stamp duty waivers and other discounts will be a “main feature” of the exhibition, according to MCHI.

Deepak Goradia, MCHI co-convenor of exhibitions, said:

“Today, with the property market buoyant and home seekers undecided whether to buy now or wait for the rates to fall, this property exhibition comes at an appropriate time.”

Covering 25,000 square meters, the show will feature leading property developers and housing finance institutions from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune, among others.

The event is now in its eighth year and expects to attract around 100,000 visitors over the four days.

Besides India, property investment opportunities based in Dubai and the US will also be on show.

Flats, apartments, penthouses, bungalows and other new homes will all be on sale direct from developers.
