Homes on sale in cultured Dallas real estate hub

Dallas sxcWork is progressing on a spectacular real estate scheme in Dallas, US, set to be part of a culture-themed regeneration plan.

The Museum Tower , Dallas, will stretch to 42 storeys when complete, making it the city’s tallest building dedicated only to homes.

A total of 123 homes are on sale in the scheme, built by real estate pioneers John Sughrue and Dan Boeckman.

It is also part of what is planned as the world’s largest urban arts district, featuring a new opera house, museums and sculpture centres.

On Friday Dallas will also host an inaugural three-day art fair, centred on an area close to the Museum Tower featuring several new art-related real estate schemes.

Developers describe the tower as “a sculpture in its own right” offering “unprecedented access” to the new district.

Homes in the $200 million project will feature floor to ceiling windows, and contemporary gourmet kitchens. Residents will also get access to ‘wellness plans’, featuring nutrition and fitness programmes.

There will also be a specially-built dog park for discerning pet lovers, a pool and art gallery. The array of new apartment homes in the scheme is part of an overall boom in Dallas real estate, already famed for its tall structures and rapid expansion.
