Thousands of new homes for sale have gone on show at a Bangalore event expected to attract more than 7,000 people.

Over the weekend the Bangalore Property Bazaar 2009 ran at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium, showcasing homes from the budget to the premium.

It featured some of the biggest names in Indian property including Arattukulam Developers, Goel Ganga Group, Arya Group, Fortune Group and Mantri Developers, among others.

Many of the firms are behind some of the biggest new homes projects in Bangalore and beyond, with Arattukulam building the Divyajyothi Lakview County Scheme, a vast apartment development.

Fortune Group is also building Fortune City, Kolkata, an apartment homes complex designed so buildings are open on the southern side to allow a “constant flow” of southerly winds in all directions.

In total more than 40 building companies showed off over 200 property projects at the event, organised by MagicBricks.com.

The site’s vice president, Naveen Luthra, said the idea was to “provide property seekers in the Bangalore region with a host of opportunities to evaluate and choose from the multiple projects and avail exclusively designed offers from the best developers and agents from the region.”

Next month the International Property Investment Show 2009 will be held at the Pragati Maidan Convention Centre, New Delhi, India, and will also feature new homes projects from across the country.
