The real estate company behind some of India’s most high-profile new housing developments has announced all its projects will be complete on time.

Tata Housing said it wanted to give “comfort and confidence” to the market by committing to its planned schedules.

The firm is behind Aquila Heights, a luxurious high rise housing scheme in Bangalore, and Raisina Residency, an exclusive real estate project in Gurgaon.

Aquila is due for handovers in December next year and Rasina Residency is down to be finished by June 2011.

Quoted by Indian Property Review, Brotin Banerjee, managing director of TATA Housing, said: “We are committed to make landmark projects in terms of quality with timely construction, execution and delivery schedules, be it in these difficult times as well.
“As a long term vision, our entire team is dedicated to safeguard the trust of our customers and we will be delivering the product as per the earlier schedule.”

Some other Indian real estate schemes have been put on hold or shelved indefinitely due to the slowing economy, which has seen a squeeze on new lending and high interest rates.

Aquila Heights has apartments on sale from Rs 6,168,300 ($124,010) to Rs 9,278,550 ($186,571) and is a three-tower real estate scheme described as the city’s tallest residential address.

Raisina Residency has an ‘art and culture’ theme and also features luxury real estate, from Rs 12,174,750 ($244,815) to Rs 20,102,250 ($404,227) for apartments.
