Families and property investors are being given the chance to reserve homes in a brand new homes development on the edge of some of the UK’s most picturesque countryside.
George Wimpey announced sales at the Augusta Park scheme in Andover, Hampshire, and said those quick to reserve would get the pick of the plots on the development.
The overall scheme is to see schools, a community centre, sports hall and playing fields built alongside the homes.
The developers have also chosen to incorporate existing mature trees into the property plan, forming part of landscaping and a series of small parks and green spaces.
Buyers looking for an effective property investment could also be tempted by the five minute drive to the local railway station, which provides regular links to London.
George Wimpey said the scheme is a “prime position” to the north of Andover, and also said homes enjoyed high specifications including fitted kitchens with built in ovens and hobs.
Available homes include the three-bedroom ‘Crofton’ housetype at £189,995 ($261,972), and spacious, detached four-bedroom homes from £249,995 ($344,703).
Four bedroom detached property is also available at the site, from £317,995 ($438,554) with reservations being taken for expected summer to autumn completions.
Earlier this week property experts Savills said UK homes could soon see a halt in the trend of steep price falls seen in recent months, according to Property Wire.
