A UK homes builder is launching a selection of new properties with built-in solar panels and energy efficient heating to provide buyers with a ready-made eco property.
Bryant Homes is releasing sales for the first time on March 21 at the exclusive courtyard development in Caterham, Surrey, with property including two, three and four-bed homes from £249,995 ($346,369).
Each property also features high insulation, double glazing and fitted kitchens with built-in ovens and hobs.
The company added investors could also secure a home within easy commuting distance of London – with the M25 three miles away and Caterham station providing regular rail services to the capital.
Bryant Homes said: “Each home will be fitted with discrete solar panels delivering 10 per cent renewable energy and helping to reduce the lucky owners’ energy bills.
“New homes will also benefit from a location within easy walking distance of a wide range of shops and services catering for everyday needs, a good selection of schools, health and fitness centres, and a choice of pubs, bars and places to eat.”
The firm said a first selection of the 14 homes would be on sale from March 21, with “special incentives” for anyone purchasing a property, including assistance for those looking to sell a home before buying.
The company also said the launch would be from 9.30 am at the site in Buxton Lane, Catherham.
Property in the UK was given a lift earlier this week when estate agents Savills said a number of sovereign wealth funds were considering dipping into the market.
