Abu Dhabi property landmark – residential, cultural, investment hub!

Guardian Towers is springing up in the heart of Abu Dhabi and is part of Danet Abu Dhabi, a master planned community designed to become a residential, cultural and investment hub.

It is one of several major projects for Abu Dhabi, which is set to see billions of dollars in investment and development as it bids to bolster its status as capital of the UAE and as an international destination.

One of the towers will offer residential real estate while the other will be mainly offices, and those going for an early investment are being asked to contact developers Al Qudra Real Estate direct.

The long-awaited structure has so far seen work begin on the diaphragm wall, and shoring is expected to be completed soon.

Residential real estate will include one and two-bedroomed apartments over 17 floors, with a day care centre and 24-hour security among luxury add-ons.

Al Qudra Real Estate said: “Designed by one of the world’s most progressive architectural studios and to be built by the top contracting company in the Gulf region, there is no doubt that the Guardian Towers are set to become a crucial land mark in Abu Dhabi.”

The architects are LAB Architecture, who developed an unusual sliced and shifted appearance for the two finished towers, which are set to be joined by a podium. The project is scheduled to be complete by 2010, with the developers stressing they believe it will be finished on time in a statement.

Investment in Abu Dhabi property is focussed on the residential real estate sector, with the state in need of modern housing for a growing business class.
