A luxury homes developer has announced plans to build an Italian villa scheme dubbed ‘The Seven Wonders of the World’.
VFI Overseas Property released images and details of the plan, to appear in Soverato, Calabria, a region of southern Italy seeing a boom in new homes construction.
The gated community involves full-service villas with each property construction plan unique.
All the homes will involve four bedrooms and three bathrooms and the development overlooks a picturesque beach.
Antonio Velardo, overseas director of VFI, said: “This project will introduce a standard at the very top end of the luxury homes market to the southern Italian Riviera.
“We are delighted to be at the forefront of this revolution in quality development and we intend to introduce more such exclusive communities in the future.”
Other Calabrian homes schemes by VFI include Le Terrazza Di Pizzo, near Pizzo and featuring luxury studio, one-bed and two-bed apartment homes, and resort real estate plan Pizzo Beach Club.
The Seven Wonders scheme features indoor and outdoor pools, restaurant, bar, fitness suite and 24-hour security.
It is part of a new homes boom in Calabria, which has attracted investment property interest thanks to the area’s growing popularity with holidaymakers.
Founded just over two years ago, VFI Overseas Property now has a turnover of more than 100 million Euros ($135.5 million), and specialises in Southern Italian property.

VFI has other projects, but please note, jewel of the sea there biggest has gone bust, so i really dont see this one going thru either, its just people with scam artis work that ruins our calabria!
We purchased at their so called flag ship development jewel of the sea and have nothing but trouble and strife since then we used their so called recomended lawyers, turns out most of the development was built on agricultural land, without the correct planning permisions and change of destination of the land. They claimed at the time to be the developers when we purchased but since the problems have done nothing than try and distance themselves from their involvement.
Nearly two years on,the flagship development that we purchased through them is no more than a pile of empty concrete, they make out that they are developers, when all they are, is marketeers skimming off extorniate commisions,,they are doing the same in Russian now, people in the uk and ireland are now a little wiser.
