A brand new property development in Scotland has scooped top marks in an awards scheme aiming to highlight ‘considerate’ construction projects.
The gh2o development, Glasgow harbour, got top marks at the Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards.
Build by apartment homes specialist Dandara, the project got the top level of compliance in the scheme’s code for considerate practice and was rated an “exceptionally good site”.
The eye-catching waterside homes scheme is on the edge of Glasgow’s West End waterfront, and most of the property on sale features full length balconies and private underground parking.
Dandara operations directorPhil Robinson said: “This achievement is yet another accolade for ‘gh2o’, giving a further seal of approval for new home buyers considering buying an apartment here.
“Having already picked up several awards for the design and style of the development, it is a real achievement to achieve top marks for the delivery of the development.”
To get the award gh2o had to undergo an assessment involving an eight-point code of considerate property building practice, which includes marks for cleanliness, safety, responsibility, and accountability.
Property in the development involves studio homes from £109,950 ($162,051) and also includes apartments up to around £198,000 ($291,826).
Homes yet to be released will include a penthouse property, with the price yet to be confirmed.
