First property released at Trump-backed Caribbean real estate scheme

April 20, 2009 by OPPE News

trump dominican PRLuxury real estate in the Dominican Republic is still attracting attention during the global downturn thanks to a helping hand from property mogul Donald Trump.

The entrepreneur’s Trump Farallon Estates project, Cap Cana, has just released its first villa property boasting 35,000 sq ft of high-end home.

The under-construction Villa Cielo is on a cliff top of more than 1.6 acres, 300 feet above sea level. The opulent property is geared to “create a new level of luxury within the Caribbean real estate market”.

Based 30 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, the development is to be built to the Miami-Dade Hurricane certification – a grade of a property’s resistance to hurricanes.

Developer William Ganz said: “The buyer will relish in the elite convenience of relaxing at their luxury villa within 30 minutes of arriving at the airport.

“No project in the Caribbean can offer such access and unmatched levels of luxury.”

The scheme is a joint venture deal recently signed between Donald Trump and Cap Cana, and involves 68 lots of real estate, ranging in size from 1.6 to 12 acres, and priced from US $3 million to US $12 million.

The initial Villa Cielo home includes six bedrooms including a detached two-suite bungalow with efficiency kitchens.

There is also a detached spa and fitness centre with sundeck and hot tub, plus a nine-seat theatre room for the eventual owner of the property to relax in.
