Ideal Choice for First Time Buyers at Blenheim Square

Jay Boughen and Veronika Botlikova at Blenheim SquareFor first time buyers, young couples and commuters alike, Crest Nicholson’s new Blenheim Square development in the village of North Weald is the ideal place to set up home. The development is situated close to the Essex town of Epping, from where the central underground line heads straight into the centre of London. One young couple who have recently bought at the development often take advantage of the fast links into London and enjoy the best of both town and country living.

First time buyers Jay Boughen (25) and his fiancée Veronika Botlikova (30) had been living at Jay’s parent’s house in order to save for a deposit and knew they did not want to move out of the area. Having looked at a few developments around Epping, Jay and Veronika settled on Blenheim Square due to the easy access to London, whilst still retaining close proximity to family and friends, as well as the superior design, customer care and choice on offer at the development.

Jay comments, “I’ve grown up in Epping and really like the area, I run my family’s driving school from here as well so have a lot of strong ties to the town and its surrounding areas. Having looked at a few new developments locally but not found anything we really like, when the show home opened at Blenheim Square we wanted to take a look straight away as we’d been watching the progress of the development. We found the modern layout of the homes was suited to our taste and requirements and the finish and quality of the show home was of a much higher standard to those we had seen previously. We also loved that we could choose our flooring and worktops as it felt that we were adding our own personal touch to our property.

“Veronika and I like the freedom living here offers us, as we both work nearby it is really nice to have fast easy access to London to be able to escape for a night out or day of shopping and sightseeing. Having moved in now the development is starting to feel like a real community, despite how new it is. The residents are starting to warm to each other and we are really looking forward to our future here.”

Launched in the summer of 2010, Blenheim Square comprises traditional two, three and four bedroom properties to suit all types of homebuyers. From apartments and cottages, to larger family homes, all houses are designed to maximise space and light.

Jay adds, “We were really impressed with the Sales Advisors at the site as they were very helpful and friendly. The whole journey from meeting them to collecting our keys felt personal, which as first time buyers was very important to us, they really guided us through the whole decision and explained anything we didn’t understand.”

As well as being close to larger Essex towns such as Harlow and Epping, Blenheim Square offers fantastic connections to the capital in under an hour, with trains from Epping Underground Station to London Liverpool Street taking just 35 minutes and 50 minutes to Oxford Circus. For those who drive, the M11 (junction 7) can be reached via the A414, which means that Stansted Airport is just 16 miles away. The M25 can also be accessed via the M11, as well as London Docklands via the North Circular in approximately 35 minutes.

Prices for a two bedroom home at Blenheim Square start from £199,500. The developer is now offering first-time-buyers a 5% deposit paid incentive to help get a foot on the property ladder.
