The Junction Welcomes Its First Residents

Andy Turner, Paul Adams, sales advisor Jennie RolfeBuying a new-build property can be an ideal choice if you’re not particularly DIY savvy and are confident in the high standards that a new home can bring. Two Bristol homebuyers recognised the benefits of buying a new-build and have just been unveiled as the first residents at Crest Nicholson’s The Junction development in Stoke Gifford.

Andy Turner and Paul Adams recently bought their new ‘Hampshire’ three bedroom home at the development after visiting the site and new show home, as they were searching for an upgrade on their current Crest Nicholson home in the same area.

Parking was one particular factor that Andy and Paul wanted in their new home, so they were delighted that their chosen plot had potential to build a garage and park two cars. Andy commented: “We were looking for a new property that had a parking space and also the flexibility to develop further, so we were delighted when we visited The Junction site to see they had a property that would allow us to do this and suited our overall requirements.

“We wanted to find somewhere fairly close to our current home, as we don’t want to move away from the area due to its superb location, with great transport links including Bristol Parkway train station, as well as being close to our work, friends and family. Paul and I were already living in a Crest Nicholson home nearby, so when we became aware of this new development, we wanted to visit as soon as the sales office was opened, as we were confident in the quality and standard of their properties. As well as building a garage for storage purposes, we also have plans to convert the attic into another usable room.”

The Hampshire three bedroom house, chosen by Andy and Paul, benefits from a spacious living room, as well as an open plan kitchen and dining room. Upstairs the property has both a family sized bathroom and also an en-suite, which adjoins the master bedroom.

Andy continued: “The staff at Crest Nicholson were really supportive when they helped us to find our ideal home and paid attention to the smallest details even demonstrating a degree of flexibility to meet our particular needs; this helped with making the whole process fairly hassle free. The location is perfect for us, as we both work fairly close by, and it also has amazing views across the Winterbourne countryside.

“We’d definitely recommend buying a new home with Crest Nicholson, as they are more energy efficient than older properties and don’t need to be redecorated for a number of years. The team also makes sure that any queries are quickly resolved, ensuring peace of mind during what can be a stressful time.”

Laura Osborne, Crest Nicholson Sales Manager for The Junction, said: “We’re delighted that Andy and Paul are happy with their new home and we’re looking forward to officially welcoming them to The Junction when they move in! The development has something to offer everyone, so we encourage homebuyers to visit the sales team to see how we can help them.

“Choosing a new home is one of the most important decisions you make during your lifetime, so our sales advisers have been heavily trained to provide the best standard of service and give customers all of the information and support they require when looking to buy a comfortable, practical and energy efficient home.”
