Spanish property showcase for unique investment opportunities

Eloy Bohua SIMA Madrid PRThe hosts behind an international real estate show appearing in Madrid say the event will have positive aspects despite the economic downturn.

The SIMA Madrid International Real Estate Exhibition is to run from May 27 to 30 and has already been reduced to four days instead of the five seen at previous events.

But executives said the investment property gathering could feature “unique opportunities” which are only seen when some financial markets struggle.

Now in its 11th year, the show attracts Spanish investment property buyers and international investors alike. The event will feature an ‘international pavilion’ featuring real estate opportunities from around the globe, as opposed to just Spain.

SIMA director Eloy Bohua (pictured) said: “Of course this year will be different, in a positive way. We expect to see domestic and international investors and developers seriously searching for the unique opportunities that only an economic downturn presents.”

Dozens of new real estate exhibitors and investment property firms have recently been confirmed to appear at the event, held at Feria de Madrid.

Names recently added to the list include Live in Spain, Grupo Masa, Inmobiliario and Banco Santander.

The show will also have a section dedicated to home technologies and sustainable real estate developments.
