Investment property developer goes High Street

Filed under: UAE, UK, Uncategorized — OPPE News @ 1:00 pm

A UAE-based investment property developer is taking its portfolio straight to buyers’ doorsteps with the opening of a specialist London showroom.

ACW Holdings has set up its sales shop on Edgware Road to promote commercial, residential and retail opportunities.

Previously ACW Holdings developments were marketed through nationwide exhibitions and road shows, which the firm said “proved enormously popular” with UK property investors.

The Edgware Road sales centre includes scale models and interactive presentations to tempt buyers to snap up what the company says are high-yield opportunities.

ACW Holdings general manager Ian Pask said:

“The opening of our new dedicated London sales centre and showroom is an important step forward in our overall business strategy as a real estate developer.

Dubai remains a very popular destination for foreign property investment and we aim to create a convenient and comfortable venue for clients.”

He added the new showroom was part of a general aim to further develop the UK market in the long term.

ACW Holdings was formed in 2004 by a group of UK investors aiming to develop property in the UAE, beginning with Dubai.

The firm has since grown, with a number of major projects under development and an asset value in excess of AED 5 billion.

Jack Nicklaus tees off marketing of exotic real estate project

Filed under: Uncategorized — OPPE News @ 4:00 pm

Real estate investors are being urged to snap up luxury residences in a development backed by US golfing legend Jack Nicklaus.

The 68-year-old has paid a site visit to Raffles St Lucia, which will also feature a golf course designed by him.

Marketers IMI said the development will not only feature a hotel but also estate lots on an island many are predicting is about to go through a sustained growth period.

The West Indian state is the subject of other projects from a series of international hotel firms and is also building a prestigious marina.

Mike Collins of IMI said:

“Raffles St Lucia offers a legendary opportunity to create a legacy for buyers from Europe and Asia, as well as North America. The escalating demand from markets like the UK is quite remarkable, especially for offerings like this one, where scarcity is such a driving factor.”

Nicklaus has been overseeing the development of an 18-hole golf course and club house which is part of the Raffles development and will be open to all residential units on the site.

He said:

“It’s just a spectacular site. The water, the climate, the topography, it has everything you look for in a golf course setting. The moment I saw it I said ‘I want to be here’.”
