Top 10 dream property investment opportunities

It’s Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK and the weather, although not great, isn’t as bad as was predicted. We can at least see the old current bun, flying high in the sky.

Over the past couple of weeks we have had some pretty good days with beautiful warm sunshine that brings a smile to everyone’s face. When the sun comes out we all feel better and the mood lightens. Your worries don’t feel half as bad – it’s a life changing experience.

I asked my usual weekend question to my wife and kids – ‘What do you want to do today?’ – Which is a terrible question, I know, because you only ask it when you don’t know what to do yourself. The question was greeted with silence, as usual, and so I suggested a walk to a local carnival. My wife suggested that we shouldn’t walk as rain is expected, and this being England where you can experience all four seasons in one day, suddenly the walk didn’t sound such fun.

Let’s emigrate

So while the kids are watching telly, I’ve decided to write this blog. Having a bit of a scout around the web I read that 3.81 million British and Irish property investors own property abroad. Apparently record numbers of Britons are choosing to emigrate overseas because of the high number of migrant workers and the yob culture.

I love that – we put two words that clearly don’t belong together and come up with a new form of culture – yob culture. As for migrant workers, this is clearly a problem that the UK government hasn’t managed too well. That said – it’s not the reason that I would leave. I would leave for better weather and a more relaxed way of life.

Property investment and sunshine

I look around the site regularly searching for investment opportunities and wonder to myself why I don’t find a new living opportunity. Fear I suppose, fear and uncertainty. In the UK we have about 60 sunny days compared to locations such as Dubai, Spain, Turkey, Florida etc, etc that have around 300 days of sunshine per year. That’s a big difference, a life changing difference.

It’s top of the pops

So here’s my top ten dream locations to wipe away the blues after a wet weekend in the UK:

Dream on.
