There were seven wonders of the ancient world. And now soon, there will be seven Michael Schumacher wonders of the real estate world.

For a developer in the United Arab Emirates is building the first of seven Michael Schumacher World Champion Towers. It might turn out to be a decent investment opportunity as it will be located in the Central Business District of Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, with its own luxury marina.

Michael Kutschenreuter, CEO of Marasi, the geniuses behind the project said:

“Marasi will specialise in providing solutions for people who wish to bring together their residential location and immediate access to their yachts. In the Michael Schumacher World Championship Tower cutting-edge technology and beautiful design will merge to create a unique living community with a spectacular backdrop.”

Schumacher’s torso= homes for sale?

I’m curious to know what this will look like? Is it going to be an exact replica of the great man himself, a Formula 1 racing driver version of the Statue of Liberty, towering over the United Arab Emirates? Will there be homes for sale in his upper left thigh, or maybe a fine set of houses in his rather chiselled torso? I’m not sure I could face writing about poor old Schumacher facing foreclosure on his, ahem, groin.

The future of real estate investing

It just might be possible this Middle East developer has reached a precedent. Could it be, that there will be sportsmen and women having their likenesses crafted into luxury homes?

I would dearly like to see a 200ft Maria Sharapova reclining on the shores of Miami with a penthouse suite, to gaze out at sun setting over the Atlantic.
